Antigone get’s mad that creon only buried Eteocles with honor and left polyneices to rot. “Ismene, I am going to bury him.” “Bury him! You have just said the new law forbids it.” Antigone is determined to bury her brother, even if the law forbids it. Ismene was scared because she didn’t know what her sister was capable of. Antigone never denied anything because she wasn’t scared. “I do. I deny nothing.” The quote shows us that Antigone isn’t going to deny anything, and she isn’t afraid of what Creon might say. She was determined to bury her brother, and she did so she is happy.
