Yes, I do believe Antonia would agree with that statement. Because she never had as much as an “successful” life like Jim has. Jim is a huge lawyer in New York City, Antonia Still ended up living in Nebraska. Although Antonia is not as “successful” as Jim, she is still living a happy life with he husband a children. “I was ten years old then; I had lost both my father and mother within a year, and my Virginia relatives were sending me out to my grandparents, who lived in Nebraska.” Although growing up with a troubling past, after his success in New York, Jim came back to the Nebraska prairie, in which he grew up, to reconnect with his friend he hasn't seen in twenty years.
