Many people in this day and age are afflicted by some kind of mental disorder. By mental disorders I mean disorders such as Anxiety, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), Agoraphobia, Schizophrenia, Dissociative Disorder, Sexual and Gender Identity Disorder, Mood Disorders, and other disorders like that. I myself suffer from a few of the disorders previously mentioned. But in this paper, I am going to focus on anxiety. Anxiety is a common problem in the world today. Many people suffer from it even if they think they don't. Some people say, “its not anxiety, its just stress”, But what they don't realise is that stress is a side effect of anxiety. There are over a hundred different symptoms of anxiety. They pertain to different parts of the body. The different body parts include the head, chest, eyes, ears, mind, stomach, and sleep. Anxiety can affect your sleep, it can cause insomnia issues and other sleep disorders. It can cause you to have auditory and/or visual hallucinations. It can cause tightness in the chest, and you can develop stomach problems like constipation and diarrhea. Anxiety causes more problems than you think it does. It can make things seem worse than they really are. You may think you are dying, but all you have is a papercut. Anxiety will do these things to you. Anxiety over a long period of time can cause problems like depression or suicidal thoughts. These only occur after at least a year of constant anxiety. Another symptom is an increase in Migraine Headaches. These headaches are common in people with anxiety. If you have these headaches you should go to your doctor and get their opinion. Some people with anxiety report that they can sleep all day and still wake
