Information management is the collection of all the important information regarding the management of any organization. The current economy requires elaborative use of all the information and communication tools to enable it competes with the other sectors especially in the marketplace. As such, the ever-changing technological innovations render most of the organization in a dynamic state of new faces of clients and needs. Competition manifests itself in various ways in the market place thus all the organization should be in a pole position to face the menace of completion. The use of social media also plays an integral role in enabling some of the world's most trending companies to market themselves using the online interfaces. As such, positive publicity normally leads to a great outcome in terms of brand loyalty. Therefore, this paper is going to expound on how Apple as a leading and most trending companies faces its competition challenges in the marketplace.

1Introduction
Information management refers to the collection and management of different information from one place or rather source to a given number of audiences. It usually involves the people who have the right to that a particular information. On the other hand, management the organizing and the control over the planning, structure and control of activities related meet the different objectives and to enable all the corporate functions. Its main mandate is to deliver important information within the required period. Therefore, information management is a broad field concerned the infrastructure used to collect, preserve and to deliver important information within the required time. The main purpose of information management is to support the decision-making process and to create key values to all the individuals’ communities, societies and different forms of organizations.
The current form of organization includes both physical and electronic information. Therefore, the different organization structures must be in a pole position to manage the different types of information all the way through their information cycle regardless of the main source of the information. Good information needs to be delivered through all the channels such as through the web interfaces and the cell phones and should be able to influence a vast majority of individuals. Therefore, the right information and management tools enable all the information to be vital and have a positive feedback at the same time. Therefore, information management is the overall ability of the different organizations to preserve, manage, store and deliver the right and desired information to the right group of individuals at the right time. As such, information must be available when most needed and must be shared with the right group. It is also essential to note that information management is a corporate responsibility (CHISHOLM, 2010).
Apple Inc. is one of the worldwide big industries in the information technology, information and entertainment business. Apart from the dynamic CEO, Steve jobs under the company there are variety of projects that have result of intense innovation and clever launch strategies (Curtis & Gobham, 2005). The Apple Inc. is involved in all round operations ranging from designing, manufacturing and retailing its products, expanding from its initial expertise has successfully explored markets of high quality portable computers, music players and recently launched cellular phones.
