Are Steroids Bad?

In this article that I have read, the author has given both the positive and the negatives on steroid use, and he even offered to voice his opinion at the end. This has been a major subject now days, particularly concerning most major professional sports. The common stereotype that he went over was that all steroids are bad and make you unhealthy beyond control. Then he goes onto say that steroids in fact are actually good for you and you have them naturally occurring in your body. There are many things that I do not agree with, one being that steroids are absolutely bad for you. It has been proven that among athletes that have used steroids, they have experienced mood swings, heart problems, and liver failure. All these things do not occur naturally but with the help of a chemical or having steroids introduced to your body. The autopsy done on a professional wrestler identified steroids as one of the factors that led to his death. It not only damaged his body physically but mentally as well, he went on to kill his family and himself.

I believe that the doctor that wrote this article is very reliable and credible but he seems to be more on the pro side of steroid use. He makes excellent valid points with both the positive effects and negative effects steroid use is associated with. I’m not criticizing any of that evidence that he has provided but questioning his opinion on the matter. He says don’t be quick to judge all steroids but it seems like every steroid has a
