Every living organism starts out pretty much the same. Atoms come together to make a molecule, and molecules make up the cell, the cells make up tissues, and the tissues make up various organs. These organs conjoin together to make up an organ system and multiple organ systems make up the living organism. No matter where in the developing stage an organism is, it is already living. Once chromosomes come together to start building an organism, it is a single life and no life should be disposed of. Every life should be given the opportunity at life no matter the situation or environment it is born into. Since the start of humanity, even in the Stone Age, life was always valued. The question now arises as to why we should accept the disposal of life at an embryotic stage, if it was never a necessity back in the start of our existence? I believe abortion should not be legalized in this nation or in other nations as well. “Abortion is human intervention that does not allow a developing child to be born. It is the death of another less developed human being” (Abortion, 2008).
