Should Illegal Aliens Have to Abide by the Same Laws as American Citizens? Illegal aliens should have to abide by the same laws as American Citizens in order to better protect the United States. Currently, middle and lower class American citizens have fewer job opportunities. There is a major issue with a lack of control on terrorism. It is important for all of us to take a stand against illegal immigration and the immense bilingual debate that American citizens suffer with. The first area of debate centers on job opportunities. American citizens suffer in the job market in today’s world. According to “If you pump in millions of new workers seeking jobs, it decreases the amount of work available.” Many Americans are forced to take the lower paying jobs because there is nothing else available. They risk losing insurance opportunities. On the opposite end, other countries who are losing their native citizens are also suffering. For example, when thousands come to the U.S. from Asia, the family members left behind are left without their main income supporter. It is logical to state that if you have any doubt, the above facts will answer any questions. Conversely, many supporters of the aliens say __________________. Discuss B. Discuss B. Discuss B. In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide target illegal aliens, as do approximately two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants. More than 60 percent of the Hispanic gangs in Southern California—whose membership is in the tens of thousands—is illegal. These gangs involved with drug-distribution schemes, extortion, drive-by assassinations, assaults, and robberies. Perhaps opponents should be informed that, stated on, “In a 2006 study, Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta estimated, conservatively, that from January 1999 through April 2006 approximately 240,000 illegal aliens had committed about 960,000 sex offenses in the United States,” and in the end it is the American citizens who cannot defend themselves against these vicious attacks, and need protection which can only be mandated by the state. The United States used to be referred to as the great "melting pot" because immigrants adopted the customs, language, and culture of America according to Unfortunately, this is quickly becoming a memory as schools and politicians continue to push "multi-culturism",
