I enjoyed that you brought up the point of firms being customized to avoid prices wars. Consequently, while I agree that, in the beginning, being unique is one way to avoid prize wars, over time a firm will have to adapt due to incoming firms that will try to emulate the product or service. For example, a small local bar Presque Isle Maine decided to have wing night. Wing night is all you can eat chicken wings for a set price.
