Animals should not have to go through that type of pain. How would you like it if you were stuck in a cage, then finally let out just to be in more pain? Animal testing is wrong because no living thing should have to go through that amount of pain. It is cruel and unusual punishment. Sometimes it will harm animals, but help people or help animals but harms people. Any way why use animals when we have enough knowledge to create something that we can use instead. Many people may argue that, “Some scientists, however, have created animal testing by facilitating the development of countless medication, drugs, and medical devices and procedures that have saved millions of human lives” (“Animal Testing”). Some people have actually made some products, medicines and drugs from animal testing and have actually saved millions of lives. Secondly, “There are ‘still many areas where animal testing is necessary,’ the FDA website states, ’and non-animal testing is not yet a scientifically valid and available option yet.’,” (“Animal Testing”). Just because some medicines have been made from animal testing just thing about the torture the animals went through to get to those medicines. Also, why can they not use other methods that is what those methods are there for. However, “Plenty of alternatives to animal testing exist; scientists and researchers should avail themselves of those alternatives and let animals live in peace” (“Animal Testing”). Scientists should just leave the animals alone and let them live in peace since none of those animals have ever done anything to them.
