There are a numerous amount of excellent colleges that I could apply for, but I think that Colorado University Boulder is best for me. Founded in 1876 and located in Boulder, Colorado, CU is a high ranking university that has an acceptable film studies program. As a matter of fact, I would love to major in film. Located in between immense mountain ranges, the urban school has a great, cool and refreshing climate. This is the best place to go skiing or snowboarding in the winter. The best housing option for CU would be dorms. Dorms are offered to freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. On average, it takes a student 4-6 years to graduate from CU. Finally, The cost for one year, in state, is $29,000 and for four years the cost is $116,000. CU Boulder is a very competitive school that offers many 4 year scholarships. Possibly the best part about CU is the campus and the view. From the 50+ buildings to the beautifully placed mountains, CU Boulder is a place of exquisite elegance. The vast mountain ranges offer an awesome glimpse of snow caps and sometimes skiers. You can even take classes on the mountains! Can you imagine taking a college course about mountains? There are many reasons for this. First of all, CU has an amazing campus and I feel like I would fit right in and make a lot of friends. The second reason is the location of the college. Even though I will probably join a fraternity, there are plenty of places to live around the campus. The last reason is for the academic program.
