Millions of students all over America have high hopes of performing well on the ACT/SAT. Doing well enables the students to be able to pursue their new dreams in the next stage of their life. Almost every college in America requires an ACT or an SAT score on their application. As a student this can be a very overwhelming experience, especially if the student struggles in certain areas of the two standardized tests. These may either make or break a student's dream to continue their studies. Although the ACT and SAT is not the only objective on an college application, I believe colleges, put too much weight on doing well on this four hour test. Aside from all the disadvantages, the ACT/SAT advantages possibly exceed the disadvantages.

Seeing through the thousands of college in the United States, there are many objects depending of the ACT/SAT score each student receives. Whether or not a student already intelligent and scores high on either of the tests, or if the student struggle on these tests. The college board has many resources available if a student is struggling with the ACT/SAT, with practice tests, tutors to help you learn the information and learn study strategies. The final advantage that should be made clear about the two tests is how unbiased the ACT/SAT is. Not knowing who any of the student are as people, which if it wasn’t the graders could grade differently depending on the students. That’s what is good with the technology we use today, not using all man time and effort to correct the millions of ACT/SAT scores each month, but have the computers do all the work. And the computers are more accurate, so the ACT/SAT are definitely to best and most efficient way to admit students into
