Tom Clancy once said, “It’s not right to say our loss on Vietnam was a gain. But lessons were learned. And they were they right lessons.”But when they look for someone to blame for that loss, they blame the soldiers. Those who put down their lives for other people for a cause they believed in. Not for America, but for Vietnam. Proving that we are willing to defend liberty not only for ourselves, but for others as well. And from many years of hatred and disgust towards them, many start to doubt a purpose for their heroism. If someone lays down their life to defend others. When they fight fight for a home hundreds of miles from their own, the very least you do is show a form of respect. And most can't even do that. They treat them like the dirt they walk on. But they don't turn a blind eye. All eyes are on the soldiers who went to fight in this, “Pointless War”. After these people have lost so much, others insist on taking more. Coming home from the pain and despair of war, to stop it from reaching others, they despise them for doing so. …show more content…
“Truth”, that these men had murdered innocent people. How they came without their will. And as they ignore the ones they speak about, there is no one to deny their statements.
People think they can talk it out. Reason with an enemy who cannot be reasoned with. But in a world like this, there are people who don't listen to reasoning. And those who have a special hatred towards its veterans are one of them. Somehow, people find a way to both despise the vets and show no concern at all. They have no concern for their morals, just like they claim the vets did while fighting. But think of this, if someone has survived the horrors of war, but come home to a country that now hates them for it, are they truly lucky? Lucky to come back
