Is college really worth it? This is a question many students begin to ask about as the cost of college increases and jobs are harder to get. As of right now in our society a college education is no longer a privilege, or a option, but rather than a necessity. We all believe that one needs a higher education in order to succeed in life. Although, many people are questioning whether the value of a college education is worth the investment and time, the number of people perceiving to go to college is increasing each day as time goes by.
People that go to college seek that college graduates have higher employment rates, and higher salaries, than those of high school graduates. College graduates tend to have better interpersonal skills, as well as a better ability to achieve major milestones. Despite the pros and the cons of knowing if college is worth it, there's more to that. Whatever someone wants to do after high school is their choice because at the end of the day you need to do the thing that makes you happy. Whether that be going to school for another 4 years or straight to a career path. There will never be a right or wrong choice. The only opinion that matters has to be your own. College will expand your horizons and open up more opportunities, but going straight to a job will give you an experience that you’d never thought you’d do.
