The general traffic laws of the state of Ohio are here to protect its citizens from misconduct and advocate safety on our streets and highways. These laws have been in place for generations, yet we still have many traffic violators today. So, why is it we have so many traffic violation issues? To ask that question I think we have to look at the driver’s education system and young drivers. What does driver’s education look like today? In many driver’s education facilities students are placed in a classroom environment and are asked to watch videos on driver safety. After 5-6 daytime classes students take a proctored exam, and then move on to just 8 hours of supervised driving time before they are finished and ready to take their drivers test.
