Throughout many decades many people have been discovering more truths about the human body. Some of these finding have been very interesting to people and some of them can gross a lot of individuals out. These nastier findings of the human body include; shedding skin every day, boogers, ear wax and much more. Out of the three different body fluids I named, ear wax is one that many people have tried to get rid of without hurting their sensitive ear drum.
Many people do not know that earwax is actually good for you and cleaning your ears is really not healthy for you unless you are experiencing too much wax build up, that causes your hearing to decrease. Doctors have done a lot of research about ears and they have come to the realization that

There are four claims that they believe is true, even when people have proved them wrong. The first claim is “Interconnections in the head allows the candles to drain the entire system through the ear”. This claim is false because liquids and gasses cannot pass through the ear canal. The second and third ones are claims that have already been briefly talked about, and that is how it creates the vacuum to suck up all the ear wax. Throughout recent studies doctors have brought in patients to test the candle in their ear. There were patients with ear wax in their ear already and there were patients that came in with mostly clean ear canals. After the study the doctor realized that the candles didn’t work because when he took it out of the patient with the ear wax build up nothing was gone. When he checked the patient with the clear ear canal he saw that there was more deposit in their ear, meaning that the candle is just making your ear more clogged and there is no way that the product works. The last claim from ear candling companies is “Ear candling is effective, safe, and noninvasive”. Which is completely wrong according to other researchers (Jackie Clark, PhD,
