Would you want to be all of the sudden appropriated away from your home and put in an internment camp? Probably not, right? Well that is what happened to around 120,000 Japanese-Americans during World War two. On March of 1942 America put up a sign telling all Japanese-Americans they were being put in camps, because they were a threat to American security. The government regarded that these people would spy, join japan, or even sabotage American secrets. All the Japanese-American people were confused, and most of them were innocent. I think the American government didn’t do the right thing because: they rushed they out of their homes not letting them bring much, they didn’t have an equal reason for abandashmint for all people, and they didn’t fairly pay back the Japanese-Americans afterward. …show more content…
This war unfair to them for multiple reasons. First off, these people were thrown out of their homes, only being able to take a few things. “All Japanese persons, both alien and non-alien, will be evacuated from the above designated area by 12:00 o’clock noon Tuesday, April 7, 1942.” Announces the Army Wartime Civil Control administration to Japanese-Americans (in Instructions to all people of Japanese Ancestry.) Second, this was told to them a few days before they had to leave. They had to pack up the few things on the list akin: toiletries, clothing, dinnerware, bed-linens, and essentials. All of them were very rushed to get these things and their families ready to leave. Finally, the Japanese-Americans had to leave their own homes with all their other things, not knowing if they would return to their homes the same. All their homes that they worked hard to get and sustain stayed, but, they
