Dodging Bullets Lately we have been witnessing mass shootings occur more often all around the world and some people blame the gun laws are not strict enough and some blame the person behind the gun. There are always two sides of a conflict. The people that blame the person behind the gun usually have a mental illness and have received little or no help or support for their problems. The people that blame the gun laws saying it is not strict enough is said because the United States have one of the most relaxed gun laws all around the world, and one of the highest civilian mass shootings of any country. In July 2012 a man named James Holmes killed twelve people when he opened fire at a movie theatre. After this people were still on edge but not ready for the event that happened on December 12, 2012. People were not ready for the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting. It turned out to be the biggest high school or grade school in U.S. history and the second-deadliest shooting by a single person. Adam Lanza, the man who shot twenty children and six adult staff members. Prior to driving to the school, Lanza shot and killed his mother. It affects everyone the people who were there, their families and friends, the community and also the whole world. The people who were in that moment when the shooting took place damages them mentally, physically, and emotionally.
