On July 2nd, 1776 the second continental congress voted 12 out of 13 men voted for a resolution to break ties with Great Britain. And it was on the very same day that the Pennsylvania Evening Post printed “This day the Continental Congress declared the United Colonies Free and Independent States.” Nevertheless we celebrate Americas independence on July 4th, that is due to the reason that it is known that the declaration of independence wasn't signed by all until July 4th, 1776 (and even with that theory there are many who state that a meeting with all the delegates in Philadelphia never took place and the document wasn't fully signed till August 2nd, 1776.)
There were five men assigned to write why America should be independent from the country of Great Britain. One man included in the five was John Adams; John Adams, however, thought that they needed a younger man from the Virginia delegation and suggested Thomas Jefferson since he thought he was a much better writer. even though many think that Thomas Jefferson was a Skilled writer for coming up with such a

It is known nationwide of what King George lll did to mistreat the colonies but the good things that King George lll has done that have outright benefited the colonies are well hidden from the public. Those things weren't mentioned not by fault but by design and therefore the declaration of independence really only has printed on ones mans view which simply doesn't tell the complete story.
