The risks by far outweigh the benefits. It is a risk that they are trying to give school teachers guns. Many tragic events could happen with guns. One big one being that a student could steal the gun or maybe even bring a weapon like a knife to stab the teacher and steal the gun. In many cases some students could create a distraction and others could steal the gun. Or a teacher accidentally sits it down and forgets about it. A teacher at a Pennsylvania Christian school accidently left her loaded pistol in a bathroom, where elementary school children found it, Pennsylvania State Police said Tuesday. Should we really take that next step or would it be to much of a risk. Because we're trying to prevent gun on campus instead of adding them to campuses. Their is many cases that guns being inside school and on campuses would be more of a problem then having them on the outside of the campus. Why should teachers be armed rather than a guard or a police around the campus. Many schools can’t afford safety systems or upgrades for safety. But many can have police. Only maybe some rural systems that can’t afford police or safety systems or upgrades. Then maybe they should cut things that aren’t that that important. Like not taking so many field trips maybe only take them if it’s educational. Maybe not cut things like music or art. When it comes to guns on campus it needs a lot of thought about the benefits and how it can harm others. Mass shooters bring their guns from off campus think what it would do if the guns were already on campus. Also it takes a lot of thought about what is better for the schools and students in the school. It uses a lot of looking at history and what happened. It should also include the public and parents of students at the
