Medical marijuana is legal in 28 states of America, but it should be legal in all 50. The legalization of medical marijuana would benefit the United States in numerous ways. Not only would the medical marijuana benefit the United States, but the people who live in it would be much safer.The legalization of medical marijuana will taper the consumption of painkillers, really assist people in need of the drug for medical reasons as well as help the government and medical fields enhance. First off, Medical marijuana should be legalized everywhere because it will reduce the relevance of the extremely dangerous painkillers. It has a wide spectrum of what it can do and I think it is finally time the U.S government uses it to help others. With all the uses and everyone saying how good it is why would we not take advantage; for instance, “Cancer, glaucoma, HIV or AIDS, any chronic or debilitating disease or treatment for such diseases, which produces conditions that may be alleviated by the medical use of the marijuana”(http://medicalmarijuana.pr). Medical marijuana can assist with all these diseases instead of the painkillers.
