The Right to Bear Arms, our second amendment right, the right to own a firearm. One of the most controversy topic to discuss among americans. Should we have the right to own any type of firearm because we have the right as american citizens. Me, personally I believe we should have the right to own a firearm, I believe that as an american citizen we have the right to protect ourselves and our family. I do draw the line when it comes to what type of firearm a citizens have the right to own. Do the people really need a firearm that are actomatic, that are capable of holding a 16 clip magazine, I say no. When I see people with these type of dangerous guns I get angry because personally those firearms are not needed when it comes to protecting your family or going hunting. This topic is important to me because growing up in south central L.A. gun violence was everywhere. Yes the movie Bowling For Columbine was right gun violence doesn’t happen everyday, but it is one thing south central is known for. During my 17 years living in south central I witness a total of 4 drive by shooting, many would say that 4 isn’t that many but ask yourself how many have you witness. Michael made a lot of good points when it came down to why certain guns should be banned in the U.S. and how America have to most gun related death than any other country. On second thought he didn’t provide enough information on why we should own guns. He never mention that guns can sometimes save lives. I agree there are far less stories about how gun save lives, but that’s just the media fault. The media only likes to report on stories where guns are involved in crime, and murder. Even though Michael Moore made a lot of good points why guns should be banned I would of like him to mention some stories where guns have actually saved
