The War on Terror is here and started after the 9/11 attacks. It is a heavily disputed topic, many believe it needs to end, others think it is necessary. Although The War on Terror causes problems what they are fighting for is something that needs to be fought for. The War on Terror is a war that needs to continue. The first reason is that The War on terror should not end until all terrorist groups in the world are gone. The second reason is if we keep at Isis they may start to back off keeping many families in many countries safer. The last reason is there have been hundreds of thousands of deaths as a result of terrorism, and those terrorists must pay for their crimes.

How could this help? These are questions that many people say when this topic comes up. Many people believe that attacking ISIS will just make them angry and take it’s anger out families in the middle east. The truth is “Continuing airstrikes could provoke Isis even more, so taking a role in the back could make Isis chill out and not be so violent.”(Pros/Cons) Think about it if we show ISIS what we are capable of they may think twice and taking more lives. Of course they will continue to, but attacking them where it hurts may make them slow down. When president Obama was in office he took the initiative to attack ISIS by saying this speech” “We will not get dragged into another ground war in Iraq,” he insisted in his televised speech Wednesday night. Instead, this will be a war where others—mainly Iraqi soldiers—fight on the ground, while American advisers devise the battle plans and American pilots pummel the enemy with missiles and bombs.” This speech means boots on the ground against ISIS could be devastating, but if we attack them from the air it can save american lives. These air strikes will take out ISIS jihadists not only in Iraq but also across the border in Syria.
