Women's Equality in Sports Women's rights have been tested many times over the years, especially in sports, but Billie Jean King, a professional tennis player, raised the bar and demanded equal treatment for women, proving that women were not inferior in sports or society.

I. Women sport discrimination
Sports were only considered as a man’s aptitude. Men were more appreciated in sports and in society than women. However, why should women be inferior to men? Why can’t women have the same privileges as men? Famous tennis player and women's advocate, Billie Jean King wondered the same thing.
