Arguments Against School Uniforms

The topic about school uniforms has been highly debated for many years. The teachers,parents, and students are required to go have a debate about this topic.We get many opinions from the public that will eventually lead to the ruling of whether we are against or for uniforms.Some people agree that uniforms are a better option because it increases student safety, reduces peer pressure or bullying, and it enhances school pride and positive discipline.

Therefore, if student is not dressed properly they should be sent home to change. This standard about the uniforms would show and encourage students to follow other rules by seeing how the school enforces using the uniforms, this meaning it could set the example. School pride is a big role in self esteem because students attending a school that has a uniform policy had significantly higher levels of self esteem than did the students attending schools without uniforms in a study from Bruggeman in 1998. Teachers perceived an increase in levels of respect, caring and trust throughout the school and also promoting that the students feel important to the school. Every student will be considered as part of the team by using and taking pride of having their uniform on.

Overall, school uniforms are a great and positive enforcement to have. Uniforms helps with getting rid of high bully rates because they usually get picked on what they're wearing.It helps with the elimination of social classes, especially when we determine how somebody is when by what brand they are using.
