I started my spring internship at the alternative Arlington Mill High School, where I completed my Fall internship. Most of the staff and the students are different. This high school is not big, with approximately 90 students. Most of these students are Hispanic and adults over 21 years old, so most of the students work and have families. Classes are Monday through Thursday. I have started shadowing the supervisor counselor, she has been intruding me to students whenever there is a chance. Students who have perfect attendance receive Metro passes every week as a motivation to come to the school.
