I presented Jean Paul Lemieux’s painting witch’s call Julie and the Universe. That painting represents a girl standing straight outside during winter. The painting is really simple, there’s not a lot of forms and colours, but there’s a lot on the girl’s figure The girl wears a black hat and a black shirt under her cot. It can represent the dark side of life surrounding her mind. However, the paleness of the background with the snow can represent the better part of life. The girl is almost crying. That can express a lot of things like solitude, sadness and deception. That’s why I chose that piece of art. I find it really fascinating because we can interpret it the way we want. It makes us reflect about what can make that girl lonely and sad
