Throughout my life, art has always been a strong personal passion of mine. From taking art classes every summer during elementary and middle school, to growing as a dedicated member of Art Club and National Art Honor Society throughout my highschool years, one of my favorite personal hobbies has always been enjoying the arts. During my past three years on National Art Honor Society, I have continuously devoted myself to becoming a committed member of this organization.

It can connect strangers and make them feel emotions. The district art show is a display that draws members of the community together in a unique way. The shared love for art that connects people across the globe is inspirational. Art, in today’s society, is ever-prevalent, and I hope that by becoming leader of this organization I can show the rest of the community that. I promise that if I get this position, I will work harder than ever to keep the legacies and work done by past Presidents going. I want to become President, the same ideal figure that I have looked up to each year since joining the organization. My preparation to become the ideal candidate for this position, I believe, is fully evident when one looks at everything I have put into this organization over the past three years. Becoming an officer has always been a goal and aspiration of mine ever since I joined this organization three years ago. Becoming secretary for Art Club and NAHS this year has been a stepping stone to hopefully becoming president eventually.All I ask is for you, the NAHS council, to grant me the utmost consideration of allowing me to become 2017-2018 President of New Holstein’s National Art Honor Society
