Asian Family Service [AFS] is an agency dedicated to provide services for two different types of client groups; people who are self-identified as a problem gambler and significant others, who experienced any direct or indirect impact due to gambling issue. The purpose of the agency is focused at minimising any impacts of gambling problem in society and enhance the quality of people’s life (Asian Family Services, 2016). AFS takes general forms from client on their first visit to the agency. It includes questions exploring what made them to find the agency, why they decided to receive any help, supports, or treatment, their ideal goal, and other general personal information.
