TimRun Company, a sportswear manufacturing company, was founded in 1992 by Timur Kim. From the very childhood, Timur was patient about soccer. Since his family did not have enough money to send him to a soccer school, his dream to become a soccer player never came true. Family obligations did not give him a chance to join a soccer team in Drexel University, where he studied computer programming. After two years of work, he understood that IT is not what he wants to do in life. In 1992 he started his own business that was somehow related to his dream. TimRun started its business by manufacturing soccer uniforms for local colleges in Philadelphia. Then, in three years they start to produce sneakers, sport bags, and uniforms for cheerleaders. The company kept growing and now they produce soccer uniforms and other soccer related items for more than 50 colleges in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Ohio. They also sell their uniforms through vendors like Wal-Mart, Target, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. The company’s official website makes it possible for any soccer team around the world to create a model of its own uniform and order it online. The manufacturing factory and headquarter of the company is located in Bucks County, PA. The company employs 211 people and is expecting to hire more. The annual income for 2012 was $90 million. The company wants to expand its business by signing contracts with other colleges and by opening its own brand stores in several states.

How TimRun Company can participate?

As a method to help children with disabilities, the Achievement Center build Adapted Soccer Clinic that is open to any child 7 years old or older with physical limitations and/or cognitive/developmental delays.

We can support the clinic by:

1. Donating our products that were slightly damaged or returned

2. Organize yearly soccer competitions for the children in clinic and involve the employees of TimRun to participate in the competition. Since the center is located in Ohio and it is not that easy to make workers fly to Ohio to participate in the competition, the company have to offer free airline tickets, food, and hotel rooms to all employees who volunteer to participate. Also, those employee who spends two days (Saturday and Sunday) in Ohio will be given a privilege to take additional two days off from work
