Asthma is respiratory disease that affect millions of people in the United States including children especially in New Jersey. Asthma among children in New Jersey is a great issue; the topic on which I will like to discuss. Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease caused by spasms in the bronchi of the lungs due to inflammation of the passage of the air ways that carries oxygen, making breathing very difficult for human. Asthma in children is mostly caused by environmental pollution, issues surrounding birth, obesity, and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
