Why is twitter so addictive? Twitter was found on March 2006 in San Francisco, CA by, Evan Williams, Noah Glass, Jack Dorsey and Biz Stone. The four guys would work in Evan’s old apartment for hours and they were trying to find an app that would first described a service that uses SMS to tell small groups what you are doing and they found a perfect app called “twttr”: after a few weeks they changed the name to twitter. Twitter is a billion dollar company: it is really popular around the world. More than 115 million users are on twitter. Twitter is a place where you can share what’s happening, twitter is also a great confidence booster, the more followers you gain, and the more popular you feel. It seems that everyone is having a twitter account, regardless of their age, gender or job title. For example, (Time world magazine) a teen from Brazil named Simas said “My sister is 10 years old. My grandmother is 82, and they both have Twitter." You can follow anyone even celebrities and see what they are up to, you can also tweet things about yourself, what your are doing and what kind a day you are/were having, that’s why people are so addicted to twitter because it can suck you out of the real world and into your own world. Some people can’t even talk to their parent because they are busy on their phones or enjoy a nice family dinner without putting their phones down. Twitter can also help businesses, because it is a great way to interact with customers. If you are tweeting from a business it can attract thousands of new customers to your business. Twitter also
