Attention Deficit

This hypothesis argues that there is no real "Attention Deficit". I feel it is not a legitimate disease or illness. Think about it we didnt have ADD a generation or two ago.

Our world is a world where "science" tries to blame everything on, physical causes completely removing souls and the human factor from the equation. Psychiatry seems to be taking over in todays world and no one is responsible for themselves anymore. We live in a world where parents look for excuses for why their children are the way they are these are excuses that alleviate the blame from themselves as nurturers, teachers and discipliner's. You have parents that care, kids that care what their parents will do when they failed or messed up, they were scared of exact punishments to correct them. they were kids that had to try and struggle or else the entire family would suffer. Children were more disciplined because society cared, and passion was nurtured.

The other group lets their kids do as they want, neither parent stays home with the kids. Kids dont care about anything or anyone and know they can get away with it. They have noone giving them direction in life, no pursuits, hobbies or passions that will bring purpose to life a lot of them have no struggles to bring them purpose or work ethic. Education seems to be getting criticized as nerdy and geeky... while being a drug addicted bum or a violent gang member is glorified as the new American dream.

You dont think a kid will actually open his text book instead of turning on the television set or that kids will "read" while listening to their MP3's.? Today kids will play after school instead doing homework then try to complete their homework before class, if they have time. Kids today are taking pride in how they barely scraped by with a 2.5 instead of pushing themselves to recieve a 4.0 in
