In this essay on the novel “To kill a mockingbird”. I will be talking about these three characters Atticus Finch, Jean Louise Finch(Scout) and Boo Ratley . All three of these characters have very different personalities. And I will be explaining and describing their personalities and how they have affected the story plot

Let’s start off with Atticus Finch. Atticus is the father of Jean Louise Finch (Scout) and Jem Finch. Atticus was married to mrs. Finch but sadly she died of a heart attack when Scout was only two years old. Atticus is also the best lawyer in maycomb county. He is very nice and does things for people without making them pay up front instead he has them do favors for him. He is also not racist he has a black maid named Calpurnia who he is very nice to. When he was a teenager his name was ol one shot because his rifle shot was the best in the town he would never miss a shot but now that he’s older he doesn't like guns. He is also too old to play sports with Jem and he has a nice car he rarely uses because he likes to walk. …show more content…
It is rumored that he killed his mother and that's why he's locked inside. (a lot of the things I will be saying about Boo will be rumores). People say the only time he comes out side is at night and he kills cats and rats for food and drags one of his legs like a zombie. It's said he is ugly and has old yellow eyes but in reality he is a handsome person. And when he found out the Tom Robinson got killed he got revenge and killed Mr. Ewell to avenge Tom. He also has a brother and he protects boo. He also likes to leave nic nacs in the hole of a tree for Scout and Jem he is very nice to the kids for example he sewed Jem’s pants up when they ripped. Boo’s personality added some mystery to the story because at the beginning of the story little to nothing was known about Boo other than to stay away from him but as the story progressed we got to know more about him little by
