The career choice I made is to be an Audiologist. This appealed to me because I have a hearing loss, so becoming an audiologist, I can understand and relate with the patients. Growing up meeting and seeing others with hearing loss had made me not feel so alone. It is an eye opener to me, so with that, I can have others smiling on the inside too! Analyzing audiology has revealed that it suits my caring, friendly, and outgoing personality, my visual and auditory learning style according to “Learning Style Inventory,” and my listening skills; however, I will have to improve speaking up to be college and career ready.
