For instance, as a commitment to building relationships, respect and opportunities with and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and clients, Australian Unity launched its first Reconciliation Action Plan in 2016. (Appendix xx) The RAP includes a focus on employment and procurement opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. Australian Unity also made a public statement of commitment to implement its first Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP) in 2017.
