One day as I was at my grandfather’s ranch, watching the animals run free while eating apples from the orchard. Dew was on all the plants and fog surrounded the air. I looked into the fog I saw a shadow that resembled a man. He sat down next to me, I offered him an apple. He took the apple and asked, “What are you learning is school?” I replied, “ I am learning about the Aztecs.” He said, “ This is sad to hear, but I didn’t get to go to school.” “Well, I will teach you what I’m learning about the Aztecs.” I said. He agreed that I will teach him everything I know about the Aztecs.
“How about I start with the Aztecs daily lives?” I asked the man. The Aztecs have slaves so they can do their work. However they loved to do the fighting. Rich Aztecs lived in houses made out of sun dried roofs, sometimes stone, and built by hand with handmade tools. Than, the poor lived in huts or sometimes thatched roofs. There was a big difference between the poor and the rich Aztecs. The poor were so different than the rich, because the poor were all fancy and their clothes were stitched and colorful. Also the poor wore dirty and very worn out clothes. “I feel bad for the poor.” I told the man. They ate really odd food. The rich Aztecs gods ate the sacrificed people and the poor have to grow their food out of a garden so they can eat.

Mainly, when people started marrying, the men were in their 20’s the ladies were in their teens. Upper class would use matchmakers to find their significant other. Then, lower class their parents would try to find the right person for their child. The good thing though is they would be able to have an opinion about who their parents have chosen.
