The second focus article that will highly influence the BYOD strategy within WWPS is Suhr et al. 2010 ‘Laptops and fourth-grade literacy: Assisting the jump over the fourth-grade slump’. The overall objective of this longitudinal research paper was to compare the differences in student English Language Arts (ELA) achievement with students participating in a 1:1 technological program (treatment group) against students who did not participate in a 1:1 technological program (control group).
