Babe Ruth: A True Hero

We often times look up to people who we want to be like and call them our “heroes.” Often times, that “hero” is someone who does the same thing as us. For example, a baseball player idolizes a baseball player, or a singer idolizes a singer. We assume that since that person is amazing at what they do, that they must be amazing in their real life as well. However, it is not rare to find that one of your ‘heroes” aren’t actually heroic. My brother, Grant, had always looked up to the former baseball player, Babe Ruth, until he found out that he wasn’t an admirable person in the real world. On the field, Ruth was an incredible baseball player and became well-known for pointing into the outfield, and hitting the ball directly there. Little did
