Ban Coconuts Not Pit Bulls Did you know studies show that more people are killed by coconuts each year than by pit bulls? People think that pit bulls are dangerous and should be banned, but if more people are killed by coconuts then they are not as dangerous as people think. People should be allowed to have pit bulls as pets because it is the media that gives them a bad reputation, they can be very protective, and their behavior is based on the way they are raised. The media is giving pit bulls a bad reputation even though they can be quite loving. For example, according to the ASPCA, the media will only report dog attacks if they are by pit bulls. They over report on incidents involving pit bulls while not saying anything about dog attacks by dogs with better reputations- like Labradors. If the media does not know the breed of dog in an attack, they will say it is a pit bull even if it is another

Pit Bulls behavior is loving and kind if in a loving and kind environment. Pit Bulls are always nice to people unless someone is trying to attack their owner or if someone or something is in trouble. Pitbulls are also easily trained and that is why a lot of drug dealers have them, not because they are mean. This is the last reason why Pitbulls should not be banned as pets. Some people think that Pit Bulls should not be allowed to be pets because they are to dangerous and vicious, but they are only mean like that because they were abused or treated unfair
