Barbarians Barbaric Analysis

In history there are many debates on whether the barbarians are barbaric or not. Reading through all of these documents, they prove that barbarians are extremely cruel. Coming from each document the topics John of Carpini (2,3,10), Genghis Khan (1,4,5,7) and the Mongols (6,8,9) all prove that the Barbarians were barbaric.

In one of the three ways the writer John of Plano Carpini gives background information to help figure out, how barbaric are the Barbarians. From this writer he gives the idea that the Barbarians are extremely barbaric. When John explains how the barbarians always held people hostage and kept them from their own religious rights that leads to the idea of negativity. (2, 3) Holding people hostage to convert them to things they do not believe does not make them anything other than barbaric. Most positive effects come from the freedom of each and every human being. The ruler of the Barbarians, Genghis Khan, ruins the whole idea of Barbarians positive effect. This man took over 4,860,000 square miles of the World’s Conquests, making many suffer and die due to various reasons.(1, 5) Purposely causing someone to be separate from their families or even die is one of many barbaric actions. Doing these cruel thing to people does not run off positive in any certain way. Genghis Khan had many of his soldiers execute people of other manuscripts, burn them alive, and take many humans away from their personal items or families leaving them astray. (4,7) Capturing humans to kill them and having them leave their own home and items gives no respect or positive influence.
