“No European army could have held together in such circumstances.” once said Baron Von Steuben also known as Frederick William, did not speak English but he spoke French that was good witch allowed him to speak to some of the officers. At a young age he volunteered with his father one of the campaigns austrian succession, father was an engineer he engineered lieutenant in the prussian army.

Washington’s recommendation in may 1778 made Baron inspector general of the army rank major general. Baron has wanted a command in the line, training become apparent at the battle mohmathe. 1780 he finally was granted a field command. He also wrote a military guide and they used it til 1812, at the age 33 in 1763 distarged as a captain. When he first started he voluntintal army was with no pay.

Baron Von Steuben's training help the U.S win the war without him we would have lost and nothing we know today would be the same, maybe even some of us wouldn't be here. Without Baron Von Steuben England would still be in charge we might still be fight with them, no one would really know because we won the war. His services was really need and we are really lucky to have had him, it is really sad that he never married and never had kids because he was always in the war and worrying about if we are gonna win or
