Barack Hussein Obama This is a report on Barack Hussein Obama the 44th President of the United States. Barack was born on Augest 4th 1961 in Hawii. His fathers name is also Barack Obama and is from Kenya where he hearded goats with his father until he received a scolarship to the university of Hawii. At the University of Hawii is where Barack’s father and mother met. Baracks mother’s name is Ann Dunham from Kansas. The couple married on February 2 1961, and Barack was borb later that year. His parents seperated when he was 2 years old and divorced in 1964. When he was When Barack was little he described himself as a skinny tall kid with big ears. From ages 6 to 10 he attended school in Jakarta, Indonesia where he lived with his mother and step-father. Barack then went to live with his grandparents in Hawii and went to school there until he graduated from high school. When Barack was in highschool he played basketball. After high school he moved to Los Angeles in 1979 and attended Occidental College and then transferred to Columbia University and graduated in 1983. He worked at couple of jobs before he became a community organizer in Chicago Illinois from June of 1985 to May of 1988. Barack entered Harvard Law School in 1988 where he was selected as editor of the Harvard Law Review his first year and was named the first African American President of the Harvard Law Review his second year. He graduated in 1991 from Harvard and then returned to Chicago where he directed Illinois’s Project Vote where his staff and volunteers registered 150,000 unregistered African Americans in the state.

From 1992 to 2004 Barack served as a professor at the University of Chicago Law shool teaching constitutional law. Barack’s political career started in 1996 when he was elected to the Illonois State Senate for 2 years. In 1998 he was reelected again to the Illonois Senate. In 2000 he ran for a U.S. House of Representatives seat and lost to the to the Repuplican Senator. In 2002 he was reelected to the Illonois State Senate.
