Baseball Field Narrative

It all began early on a Saturday morning with an unexpected visit from my parents. They made me get dressed and told me to get in the car when I was ready. We went to a baseball field, and when we parked my mom hesitantly expressed joy as we walked to the baseball field. At the field, there was a shed filled with equipment, a field that looked real, but was not; and a bunch of people that have their own certain problems and that were ready to play a long game of baseball. Soon after going onto the field we were called to the dugout and an announcer excitedly said “Welcome to the Miracle League Ball Field.” After my parents enthusiastically explained what this event was I was very excited and hopeful of a possible future for making acquaintances. …show more content…
After I got dressed I ate breakfast and then my dad told me to get in the car. We went to a ball field that looked real, but it was not.

Next we went to get our assigned numbers which we got to pick based on our shirt size. After that we went to put our stuff down and warm up to play a game of baseball. A few minutes later we were called to the dugout by the coach. After a short time the announcer started to call the lineup for both teams. My team was in the home dugout. A few spots into the lineup and then there it was; my name was called and I rushed out there and jumped up to high five the coach. After that high five I was a little less nervous, but still was a bit nervous so after the lineup and the “Star Spangled Banner” was done I went back to the dugout. Once I was in the dugout I went to my parents and they told me to get them out and then I rushed onto the field with confidence. On the field I was thinking that I can have a great future in this place and while thinking that I played the best I could with all my might and in the end the game was tied at 22 all and everyone walked off the field happily and
