Most fisherman want to know more about what they are fishing for and what are the best techniques to use to help catch what they are after. Bass anglers that fish in tournaments usually break it down to a science, and try to use everything the know to their advantage. The Large Mouth Bass is one of the most popular game fish in the United States. Bass anglers can win hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. There are also people that just do it because they love to be outdoors and they enjoy fishing. Because the bass’s vision is terrible due to all the silt. You want to fish with a bait that is more flashy, makes noise, and bright colored. Many pros use a bright colored spinnerbait, crankbait, rattle trap when fishing dirty water to help them be successful. When fishing clear water the bass can see very well. So you want to use a lure that more natural in the environment that you fishing. Patterns such as ,crawfish, shad, perch, crappie patterns will work great. In most conditions It’s more of what season it is and where the bass are located. Early to late spring you will find the bass closer to the bank for spawning. While the bass are spawning any bait or lure that imitates a predator fish, or puts off a threat towards the bass eggs or its young, the bass will react to. During mid-summer the water is too hot so the bass will be in shaded areas, such as tree branches, docks, lilly pads. If they do not have very good cover they will move into deeper water to stay cool. So using a deep diving crankbait would be an ideal lure for fishing in deeper water.
