Battle of Trenton On December 26, 1776, is when Battle of Trenton had took place. This was a small battle during the American Revolutionary War. It was located in New Jersey. The American soldiers had to cross the Delaware River but it was difficult due to the harsh snow storm. This caused a few deaths from the freezing. The battle was fought between the Americans, which were against the Hessians and British troops. The general for the American troops was George Washington and for the British and Hessians, their general was Colonel Rahl. Americans had victory over this battle.
