Baz Luhrmann’s film The Great Gatsby is a extraordinary movie, which captures the eminences and exciting scenes of the popular book The Great Gatsby. During the boisterous 1920’s, Luhrmann reacts the film and makes viewers appeal to the character’s emotions and morality while bringing them joy and sorrow. Occasionally Luhrmann’s musical choices portray to the culture of 1920’s but using vivid imagery viewers are able to visualize the scenes from Fitzgerald's novel.

It is impressive the way the director visualizes the town along with Nick’s, Tom’s, Gatsby’s house, and the Valley of Ashes. The Valley of Ashes is gray, dull, and crowded while the Nick’s house is smaller with a green garden. Although his small garden is full of flowers just for Daisy. While in Tom’s and Daisy’s mansion they have an enormous garden. To show the wealth the director uses the brief scene of Tom running into his mansion with a view of the ponies and his green lawn for a quick second. Throughout the film Gatsby’s mansion is shown off more.The director also uses extraordinary details to show off Gatsby’s wealth in his mansion. He owns an enormous closet full of imported and designer clothing.
In the party scene in Gatsby’s mansion the director uses luxurious decorations. The party scene is crowded and shows the enormous wealth the owner. The asphophere of the party is very 1920’s it is full of people and loud music. There are dancers, entertainers, and fireworks throughout this scene that fill out Gatsby wide halls.
