Since the 1900s women have come a long way and are still fighting the battle of equality. However, women to this day are still belittled in many ways, whether at home or in the workplace. As much as it pains me to say, but men are still dominant in our age and not just in conservative villages but in modern, developed countries as well. I think that this isn’t just a problem for women but for humanity as a whole. In my opinion, the Bechdel test goes hand in hand with gender inequality because it’s an evaluation of whether a movie has two female characters that are able to discuss a topic other than men.
