I have always been fascinated with how a person could have and maintain such straight, white, and healthy teeth. After having multiple experiences with tooth aches, researching the requirements to become a dental hygienist, and reading the success stories of dental hygienists, I was immediately motivated to get into the dental field. I love the idea of helping patients have clean teeth, avoid oral diseases, and brush and floss correctly. Moreover, a person does not need work experience in a related occupation or on-the-job training to become a dental hygienist and the employment of dental hygienists is growing faster than the average for all occupations.
