The University of Texas is a well-recognized and prestigious institution that prepares its students for success upon graduation. I am from Dallas, Texas and my dream since I was in middle school has been to go into the medical field. This past summer, I spent over 100 hours observing at different medical practices and spent the majority of my time at an orthopedic surgery clinic and determined that becoming a physician’s assistant was the perfect career for me. The combination of patient care with the applied use of knowledge on topics like anatomy and biology makes the career perfect for me.
