Becoming a Radiologist takes a lot of hard work and time. There are a multitude of sub professions in Radiology that play to the interests of many people. Not only that, but the salary or income of a radiologist provides a stable home life for them and a sense of security. The skills a Radiologist needs to have to be successful in the hospital business are a multitude of people skills. The working conditions of this career can be tretruis if you aren't prepared. You work all day and often work nights and weekends as an on call person. You are also on your feet and lifting patients onto the table if you're a technician. There are downsides to becoming a radiologist, but the upsides far outway the downsides.

The basic skills that every radiologist should have is to be able to write down things for patients and co-workers. Radiologist need to be able to listen to others, not interrupt, and ask good questions as a basic skill for the career. Radiologist also need to have good problem solving skills and be able to think about a problem in multiple ways. They also need to be able to think about the pros and cons of different options and picking the best one along with figuring out how a system should work and how changes in the future will affect it. By starting off as a technician and not going to medical school at first will allow you to achieve job stability and a high salary that much sooner, though the initial commitment will be more challenging. When deciding if becoming a radiologist you need to research what it takes to become a radiologist. Learn about education requirements, salary, and potential job growth to find out if this is the career for you. If it is, then you decide what you would like to study in and how you want to.
